We make countless decisions every day. Some are important for survival, like when to cross the road or where to make a shelter, and some we might not give a second thought to - like which news articles to read. How we make those decisions is a complex process involving a great many factors, including who is involved, what’s at stake, and how long there is to consider the options. Here we bring together some of our latest and most exciting research into how humans and other animals make decisions, and whether we choose to co-operate with others in doing so.
