JSH GUIDELINES FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF HYPERTENSION
JSH GUIDELINES: April 2014 Volume 37, No 4
The Japanese Society of Hypertension Guidelines for the Management of Hypertension 2014 (JSH 2014) have just been published in Hypertension Research, April 2014 (Vol 37, pp253-392). These are a revised version of the previous guidelines, JSH 2009, published in 2009. The primary objective of the JSH 2014 is to present the standard treatment of high blood pressure to prevent the onset or progression of hypertensive complications of the brain, heart or kidneys through the management of hypertension. In conjunction with the JSH 2014, this web focus presents a compilation of clinical and population studies related to the treatment of hypertension in Japan.
