Helpful tips when preparing your entry

• Your image should be relevant to the subject area of the journal submitted to — a disease angle is always appreciated (but not essential)
• Bold but simple colour combinations tend to work best — as we use a different colour scheme for our covers each month, this helps us adjust the colour of your image throughout the year
• And of course, as the winning image will be showcased on our journal covers for the year, we like it to be aesthetically pleasing
