Scope: There is an increased awareness that a greater role for women in management, the workplace and organizations in general, is an essential precursor for creating a fair and inclusive society, as well as attaining economic prosperity. Yet a continued lack of gender equality demonstrates that human resources are not being harnessed to their greatest effect. This article collection brings together academic contributions to this wider debate from a range of vantage points.
