Humans have become one of the primary forces shaping our planet, altering climatic, geological and biological systems at an unprecedented pace. A whole new geological period has been proposed, the Anthropocene, which highlights just how much of a priority the reduction and management of anthropogenic pressures is becoming on a global scale.
This Collection will provide a platform for current research on the impacts that human activities have on the environment, as well as on scientific advances providing sustainable solutions.
