Blockchain is today considered as the technology that is likely to have the greatest impact on the world for the coming years. Born to securely record cryptocurrency transactions, blockchain applications have extended well beyond cryptocurrency and bitcoin. Thanks to its ability to create more transparency and fairness and its level of accuracy, privacy, and security, this distributed ledger methodology have unleashed countless new applications in a variety of sectors such as healthcare, telecommunications, transportation, agriculture, and automotive manufacturing, to name but a few.
