Double Blind peer review and fast turnaround time
Cell Death Discovery aims to provide a decision very quickly and publish your paper online within 25 days from receiving it in production. Papers will undergo a technical peer review process primarily to ensure reproducibility of content.

In order to ensure quick turnaround times Cell Death Discovery will provide authors with the option of Double Blind peer review; where by both the author and reviewer will be anonymised. Removing any chance of bias, articles will be treated impartially and as a result the review process will be more effective and efficient.

Online Submission
Cell Death Discovery has adopted NPG's online submission system, which allows authors to submit papers via the Web. This system speeds up the submission and refereeing process, and allows you to view the status of your paper online.

In addition, authors whose papers have been rejected from Cell Death & Differentiation or Cell Death & Disease will be provided with the option to seamlessly and effortlessly transfer their manuscript to Cell Death Discovery. Authors are given this option within the decision letter and can submit their paper to Cell Death Discovery without having to go through the submission process again. With a few clicks all files are transferred to Cell Death Discovery.

Creative Commons License
Articles are published under Creative Commons licenses, which provide an industry-standard framework to support easy re-use of open access material. Abstracting and Indexing
Extensive reference linking to key indexing services and DOI numbers provide seamless online linking between articles and databases. A full list of where Cell Death Discovery is indexed will be made available shortly.
