About the Partner

Bone Research is supported by two institutes: the West China School of Stomatology, Sichuan University, and the International Chinese Musculoskeletal Research Society (ICMRS). The editorial department at the School serves as the executive office of Bone Research and comprises professionals and staff with rich experience in journal editing and administration.

West China School of Stomatology, Sichuan University

The West China School of Stomatology, Sichuan University, known as the birthplace of China's modern dental science education, was founded in 1907. For the past 100 years, the School has nurtured not only the nation’s top educators and leading scholars in dental sciences, but also the backbones who were chosen to preside over many of the nation’s schools of Stomatology. With the support of the West China School, the first and only national key laboratory (State Key Laboratory of Oral Diseases) on oral science research in China was established. The laboratory is equipped with the most advanced facilities, which has created a unique platform for innovative research and frontier investigations in oral science. With the support of this platform, the school launched the first English-language journal (International Journal of Oral Science) on dental sciences in China in 2009, which is listed on Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) and PubMed (MEDLINE).

International Chinese Musculoskeletal Research Society

International Chinese Musculoskeletal Research Society (ICMRS, renamed from the International Chinese Hard Tissue Society, known as ICHTS) was founded in August 1994. It seeks to promote scientific and professional excellence and to enhance communication among scientists of Chinese heritage and other international scholars in the field of musculoskeletal research and related areas. As a world-wide non-profit professional organization, ICMRS is striving to facilitate the exchange of ideas and to promote collaboration among scientists in the fields of musculoskeletal research.
