About the Team
Biopharma Dealmakers is put together by the following team:
Raveena Bhambra, Editor
Raveena obtained her bachelor's degree in biochemistry from the University of Leeds, UK. She has worked in the biopharma industry for more than 15 years, focusing on dealmaking, partnering and licensing throughout. In her first role, Raveena started as an editorial assistant, moving on to become content editor, specifically involved with conducting partner searches to identify both products/technologies and partners for pharmaceutical clients. She then worked for a biopharma reports publisher, editing and writing dealmaking-focused reports. In 2015 Raveena became the editor of Biopharma Dealmakers.
Claire Thompson, Head of Business Development—Biopharma Projects
Claire heads up the business development team responsible for Nature's special partnering publication Biopharma Dealmakers, plus our series of associated webcasts, and projects. Claire’s team takes a highly consultative approach to ensure that the individual business development and strategic communication needs of all the companies working with Biopharma Dealmakers from the most established to the newly emerging, are effectively supported.

Claire has worked in business development to support the scientific industry for over 20 years. First joining Nature Research in 2000, she also has experience in fundraising for academic institutions, and science based visitor attractions, Claire has led the business development team of Biopharma Dealmakers since 2012.

Veronica and the business development team make every effort to support the business development needs of the biopartnering community through the Biopharma Dealmakers platform. Veronica is interested in hearing about your partnering communication needs as well as your suggestions or comments.
