Means with standard deviations are shown. 0.1% chlorin e6 (Ce6) was used in PDI at hour 12, while 0% Ce6 was used in control group. There was no significant difference between the two groups. Clinical scores of 0% Ce6 group increased significantly from hour 12 to day 2 (*P = 0.002), and from hour 12 to day 3 (*P = 0.002). Similarly, clinical scores of 0.1% Ce6 group increased significantly from hour 12 to day 2 (*P = 0.002), and from hour 12 to day 3 (*P = 0.002).
