(E) Time-kill curves of the same strain in Kanamycin 100 μg/ml (beige) and Ampicillin 100 g/ml (red). The large fraction of survivals in Ampicillin (12%, after 2.6 hours) was predicted by the late colonies appearance, and is absent in Kanamycin (1.4E-4%, after 2.6 hours).
