Explanation of elongated Laue reflection observed for Sb2S3 crystal grown on the surface of glass matrix.

The crystal contains unpaired edge dislocations (such as misfit edge dislocation on crystal-crystal interface as seen in insert (A), and tilt dislocation walls or wedge disclinations (such as seen in insert (B). Disclinations produce small abrupt rotation (ω~10), whereas unpaired dislocations introduce gradual rotation of crystal lattice. The overall crystal rotation is shown by color gradient.
