pCAG-DN-Tbr2 and pCAG-GFP were introduced to the ferret cerebral cortex by using IUE at E33. Coronal sections of the cerebral cortex were prepared at E36 and stained with Hoechst 33342 and anti-NeuN antibody. (a) NeuN immunohistochemistry. Many NeuN-positive neurons were found in the SVZ of the DN-Tbr2-transfected cortex. Scale bar = 50 μm. (b,c) Quantification of GFP-positive cells co-localized with NeuN in the OSVZ (b) and in the ISVZ (c).
