In the version of this Article originally published, in Figs. 2c and 4d, an incorrect version of the Munoz et al.34 dataset was presented for the index of the indigenous human population in the northeastern United States over the past 14,000 yr and 2,000 yr, respectively. Both graphs erroneously showed an index value decreasing to zero at 0 yr bp, but the datasets should have ended at 250 yr bp, as shown below.
