In the original published version of this Article, incorrect numbers were inserted in the text and Table 3. In particular the number for methane emissions 3.0 × 10−8 Tg/a should have been 3.0 × 10−6 Tg/a, and for groundwater pumping 4.67 × 107 L/a should have been 4.27 × 109 L/a. This has now been corrected in the PDF and HTML versions of the Article.
