Gamma dose estimates by BDC for the region within ten miles of Three Mile Island, reduced to four categories of exposure for ease of visualization. The northwesterly path of the most intense releases is clear. In the base case scenario, the peak value of 1666 relative dose units corresponds to a gamma dose estimate of 1.1 mSv. The 423-foot contour corresponds to the elevation of the release point. The TLD at the indicated location recorded a gamma dose of 10.26 mSv. The map was created using the QGIS 2.14 software package (https://qgis.org).
