  1. Metabolite-microbiota associations were measured by Spearman’s correlation for each preservation conditions. A false discovery rate (FDR) of <0.05 was considered to be statistically significant. The numbers of the significant associations in each condition are shown. The numbers of the significant associations shared by each condition and immediate frozen NS or OMNI and their Jaccard indexes are also shown.
