(A) Un-pasteurized juice photographed on the on the fifth day after plasma treatment; gas bubbles and juice stratification (visible in the samples exposed for 0 and 30 s) indicate the spoilage of the juice. (B) Pasteurized juice inoculated with S. cerevisiae (5 × 104 cells/ml) photographed on the first day after plasma treatment; the CO2 bubbles (visible in the samples exposed for 0, 30 and 60 s) indicate the fermentation activity of S. cerevisiae cells.
