DICTRA calculated alloying element (a) C, (b) Mn, (c) Al and (d) Si distributions in the steels after intercritical annealing at 820 °C for 300 s. The calculation shows that the interface between RA and ferrite moves toward the ferrite side and the displacements of the interface are different between the steels, leading to a wider layer of RA in the 0.47 wt.% C steel with relatively high carbon content.
