Comparison of plasma tyramine (TYRA), tyrosine (TYRO), octopamine (OCT), β-phenylethylamine (β-PEA), norepinephrine (NE), metanephrine (MTN), tryptophan (TRP), serotonin (5-HT) and tryptamine (TRY) in untreated de novo (DN) patients with treated PD patients (PD) and healthy controls (H). Horizontal lines represent median value, boxes represent interquartile range, and whiskers represent minimum-maximum values. Significant differences were obtained on the basis of the Kruskal-Wallis test followed by Dunn’s multiple comparisons test (****P < 0.0001; ***0.001 < P < 0.001; **0.001 < P < 0.01; *0.01 < P < 0.05). Detailed results and adjusted p-values are given in Table 1.
