Area increase per individual in “80” m, 45 m, 30 m and 15 m after 23 days of in situ deployment on the sea floor. In both Involute (a) and Evolute (b) specimens, the difference between the 15 m group and the other groups is statistically significant (p < 0.050, Supplementary Table S2). Number of analyzed specimens (n) from left to right for Involute: 10, 20, 30, 30 and Evolute: 5, 10, 15, 15.
