Data are presented relative to the time of typhoid diagnosis (time point 0 = day of diagnosis). The dot plots corresponds to individual values colored according to challenge group (TN, red; wild-type, blue). The solid, colored lines connect the median values at each time point. The dashed lines represent the upper and lower reference limits for the individual parameters measured. The box plots display the median and IQR, with the upper whiskers extending to the largest value ≤1.5 × IQR from the 75th percentile and the lower whiskers extending to the smallest values ≤1.5 × IQR from the 25th percentile31, and are colored according to challenge group.
