The measured upstream distributions are shown by red circles while the downstream distributions are shown by green triangles. Both upstream and downstream distributions are normalized to the bin with the most entries in the upstream distribution (see text). Coloured bands show the estimated standard error, which is dominated by systematic uncertainties. Vertical lines indicate the approximate channel acceptance above which scraping occurs. The number of events in each sample is listed in Extended Data Table 2. Data for each experimental configuration were accumulated in a single discrete period.
