SARS-CoV-2 is detectable in the corpus cavernosum 1 month, but not 7 months, following recovery from infection, suggest findings in Andrology. The presence of SARS-CoV-2 was assessed in previously infected patients and an uninfected control group. The virus was detected by electron microscopy and immunohistochemistry in patients 1 month post-infection, and intensity of immunohistochemical staining correlated with infection severity. SARS-CoV-2 was not detected in patients 7 months post-infection or in the control group.
