Millions of people in under-privileged regions of the world continue to drink heavily polluted water and die from diarrhoea-related acute kidney injury whilst world super-powers continue to offer military aid to these regions. This gun aid must convert into water aid.

It is often said that ‘water is life’. This statement is borne out of the indispensability of water for human existence. From its importance in agriculture through to industrial usage and domestic consumption, life cannot be sustained without water. The human body itself is 60% water and this water component can only be maintained through regular replenishment via ingestion.
