Complete revascularization improves outcomes in older patients with myocardial infarction (MI) and multivessel disease compared with culprit-lesion-only revascularization, and immediate multivessel percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) in patients with ST-segment elevation MI (STEMI) is as safe as staged PCI, according to two studies presented at the ESC Congress 2023.
