Main tectonic terranes are labelled and separated by thick black lines. Greenstone belts are shown in dark grey. Contoured Sm-Nd model ages from whole rock analyses are from ref. 21. and highlight the distribution of ancient crust exposed in the Narryer Terrane and its possible continuation beneath younger sequences in the western part of the craton. White circles mark the location of ~3000 Ma sedimentary sequences containing Hadean and early Eoarchaean detrital zircons.
