  1. The analysis is performed for five brain regions: cortex, dorsal Hippocampus (dHpc), dorsal Thalamus (dThal), Whole Thalamus (Thal), and Whole-brain (Whole). For each brain region, one row represents a single animal (the corresponding number of recordings is given between brackets) and a set of four columns corresponds to a single sleep state. For each sleep state, the left (bold) number is the mean CBV level, the second and third figures are the 95% confidence interval and the last value is the corresponding p-value for the observed sleep state to be drawn from the QW distribution. CBV levels are expressed in % of change relative to a baseline (3 first minutes of QW)
