In continuation of “Top-cited articles in andrology journals from 2013–2022: a bibliometric analysis”

James Dornbush et al. published a good paper that offers significant insights into the field of andrology [1]. The authors performed bibliometric analysis of the top 1000 cited papers in the field of andrology and presented the most productive authors, institutions, countries/regions, and journals etc…

However, we noted a few points in the original paper [1]. For instance, why specifically rely on data from 2013 to 2022? Why not include earlier or later cited papers? Furthermore, the citation distribution (to present the quality or impact of papers) in journals by different metrics was not presented. Additionally, in Table 3 of the original paper [1], the top ten authors are presented by only one indicator, the number of publications.
