The hazards of patients who have local recurrence after EBRT as shown by the rising red line in each graph are significantly higher than those who have local recurrence after TARGIT-IORT, which in turn are the same as those without any local recurrence. Please note that these figures denote cumulative hazards of each interaction groups, whereas the curves in Fig. 4 are Kaplan–Meier estimates of cumulative incidences.
