Allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplant (HCT) recipients are prone to develop neurologic complications both in the immediate and long-term frames. The etiology spectrum is extremely wide and include several illnesses that are, at present, poorly defined, both at the pathophysiological and clinical levels. For some of these entities the burden of long-term disabilities is worrisome and even lethality could be exceedingly high in vulnerable patients [1].
