HLA antibodies are produced during allogeneic immune responses, such as pregnancy, blood transfusion, and allogeneic transplantation. Donor-specific HLA antibodies (DSA) contribute to graft failure in HLA-mismatched allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) [1,2,3]. Additionally, the intensity of DSA measured using mean fluorescence intensity (MFI) correlates with graft failure. When we perform HSCT for DSA-positive patients, DSA reduction is warranted.
