As dental students, our training is focused largely on the development of our practical skills as well as the theory that underpins them. With written exams, OSCE (Observed Structured Clinical Examinations), coursework, case presentations, clinical targets and the stress of providing high quality patient care, it is easy to overlook the smaller parts of training such as dental prescribing.
