Odontogenic tumours

Odontogenic tumours can be described as a neoplasm of the cells or tissues involved in tooth formation. This is different from an odontogenic cyst, which is a pathological cavity lined by epithelium, containing fluid or semi-fluid contents, which is not created by the accumulation of pus, and arises from tissues involved in tooth formation.
