Resting-state functional connectivity maps from a single healthy term infant (38). The first column indicates the regions of interest selected for seed-based analysis of the visual (vis), middle temporal (MT), and primary auditory (A1) networks. The second column displays the correlation maps (i.e., networks) for each region of interest from functional connectivity diffuse optical tomography (fcDOT). The oxyhemoglobin signal (ΔHbO2) from DOT is overlaid on the subject-specific anatomical magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) image. The third column displays the correlation maps for each region of interest using the blood-oxygen-level-dependent (BOLD) signal in functional MRI (fcMRI).
