Determination of the Rates of Atomic Reactions by the Discharge-flow Method

Abstract

THE growing interest in the chemistry of the upper atmosphere and photochemical air pollution has led to repeated measurements of the rate of the fundamental reaction which predominantly governs the O and O3 concentrations in the stratosphere1,2 and polluted air3.
