Abstract
MANY early-type emission-line stars exhibit a pronounced excess of infrared radiation. This may arise from thermal reradiation by circumstellar dust, although in some cases the infrared spectra indicate that free-free emission by circumstellar gas may be the predominant mechanism1–3. We have attempted to measure the radio emission from several such objects as a means of setting constraints on the latter hypothesis. Here we report the detection of radio emission from HD167362=MWC288 and from Vyssotsky 2–2=Minkowski 1–70.
