Formation of a Vortex by an Elevated Electrical Heat Source

Abstract

RECENTLY we described a series of experiments where we initiated a vortex in the laboratory using heat from a high voltage discharge as the driving force1. A slightly different experiment involves forming a vortex from an elevated electrical heat source.
