Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a common neurodevelopmental disorder that affects children and adults. ADHD is a heterogeneous disorder with multiple causes that probably differ between individuals, influenced by genetic variation, environmental factors and the structure and function of the brain.
