β-AR blockade in dHipp during retrieval provides long-lasting protection against reinstatement to a high dose of cocaine. (a) Rats did not express a CPP during a final CPP extinction test. The following day, rats previously treated with either saline (n=8) or the low dose of nadolol (n=9), but not with the high dose of nadolol (n=6), expressed reinstatement of the CPP following a priming injection of a low dose of cocaine (5 mg/kg).
