During preparation of Figure 5c, a naive islet was inadvertently reproduced in place of an LPS-treated islet. The corrected version of Figure 5c is shown below. Different doses and sources of LPS induced varying degrees of MHC I expression in islet cells of C57BL/6 or 129Sv mice, but LPS-induced MHC class I upregulation was not seen in type I interferon receptor–deficient (Ifnar−/−) mice.
