Live attenuated AIDS vaccines: Hazards and hopes

Abstract

Continuing studies in neonate and adult macaques vaccinated with a live attenuated (triple–deleted) SIV vaccine confirm that this virus can cause AIDS in some neonates and adults (pages 194–203).
