Winning the battle of graft versus host

Abstract

During hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, donor cell subsets mediate the delicate balance between graft rejection and the development of graft-versus-host disease. Is it possible to manipulate donor cell populations to facilitate engraftment of highly enriched hematopoietic stem cells in allogeneic recipients?
