X-ray Diffraction of Muscle labelled with Antibody to Troponin-C

Abstract

WE report here a further successful application of the technique of antibody labelling combined with X-ray diffraction by which the calcium binding component of troponin, a constituent of the thin filaments, is shown to contribute to the 385 Å meridional X-ray reflexion of vertebrate skeletal muscle.
