DNA Circularization: a Molecular Approach for the Detection and Isolation of Tandemly Duplicated Genes

Abstract

THE aim of this communication is to extend an elegant procedure previously used to show terminal redundancy in phage1–3 to study duplications. In particular, the method should be useful for the detection and isolation of tandemly duplicated genes.
