(b) Shows a section of the electromagnetic energy steady-state distribution. (c,e) Steady-state electromagnetic intensity inside the waveguide, characterized by the formation of 145 fs long pulses repeating within a 1.65 ps period. The pulse profile, as shown in d, is characteristic of a system with a large number of synchronized frequencies. The intensity in a is normalized to the intensity of the electromagnetic field inside the nanodisk.
