    In the Correspondence ‘Reply to ‘Emissions from cattle farming in Brazil’’ (Nat. Clim. Change 6, 894; 2016) there was a typographical error in the spelling of the name Goulart. This has now been corrected in the online versions after print 6 October 2016.
