Emerging targets for anti-inflammatory therapy

Abstract

Cytokines mediate acute and chronic inflammatory processes in disease. A new target for anti-inflammatory therapy has now been revealed, in the form of a kinase that promotes translation of specific cytokine messenger RNA species into proteins.
