Nature Biotechnology 24, 1257–1262 (2006) Published online: 10 September 2006; corrected after print 30 March 2007
In the version of the article originally published, it was stated on p. 1259, column 2, line 14 of the first full paragraph, that “cytochrome cd1 nitrite reductase and nitrous oxide reductase are encoded only on pHG1.” The sentence should have read, “cytochrome cd1 nitrite reductase and nitrous oxide reductase are encoded only on chromosome 2 and megaplasmid pHG1, respectively.” In addition, there are mistakes in Figure 2 in the structural formula for Poly[R-(−)-3-hydroxybutyrate] and the trimeric degradation product. In the former, the hydroxyl group should be a methyl group; in the latter, the hydroxyl groups at C-3 and C-6 should be methyl groups. The error has been corrected in the PDF version of the article.
