David Baltimore is president emeritus of the California Institute of Technology, where he runs his lab. He is also a Nobel Prize winner, for work he conducted while at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology on the reverse transcriptase enzyme. His First Rounders conversation touches on his parents moving him from New York City to Great Neck, Long Island, as a child; his initial interest in animal virology; and getting that Nobel call from Sweden. http://www.nature.com/nbt/podcast/archive.html
